The Human Resources Association – Greater Concord (HRAGC) is Concord’s local association for human resource professionals and other professionals concerned with knowing and using the best methods to manage their people and organization. We are committed to strengthen, influence, and lead organizations by shaping, developing, and advancing the human resource profession through our members, colleagues, and the community effectively.


Community Involvement

Volunteer Opportunities

Community Relations Committee

Promotes partnership with groups and organizations in support of current community projects and identify new opportunities for the HRAGC. Collaborates with community partners and local and state programs to develop and implement programs and/ or activities to enhance the members of the community.

Leadership Development Committee

Identifies and provides opportunities to develop leaders for the organization; recognizes and utilizes the talents of the membership while maintaining the future viability of the HRAGC.

Membership Committee

Assists with all aspects of the membership process including recruiting and retaining membership, identifying best practices for member recognition, and meet with members at membership meetings. Provides information to the Board, and ensure members have appropriate materials for continued membership and participation in the association.

Finance Committee

Ensures the continued financial viability of the organization by establishing sound financial operating policies and procedures and monitoring monthly financial activity.

Marketing & Public Relations Committee

Develops communication, publicity, and media pieces that promote the image and awareness of the association, its programs, and professional benefits of the chapter. Establishes Communications plans, develop marketing materials, support and maintain website, and secure meeting sponsors.

Programs Committee

Promotes the involvement, education and professional development of chapter members and SHRM Members At-Large by coordinating high caliber programs and workshops, in turn advancing the HR profession. Develops programs for the monthly membership meetings, identify and schedule speakers and venue(s), secure SHRM/HRCI credits. Identify topics of interests for additional or special interest meetings through the use of program evaluations and analysis.
