DESCRIPTION
OK, you have done harassment prevention training and gone through the do’s and don’t and all the legal requirements. But then what? How do you continue to build a culture that is not only free from harassment but one that is civil, kind, and thoughtful? In this engaging and action-provoking work-session, we will explore civility: what it is, what the cost of incivility is, how to cope when people are not civil, how to choose civility, ideas on being civil to others and what it means to be kind when the world around us feels otherwise.

- Gain insight on strategies that will foster positive employee relations
- Consider methods for assessing employee attitudes, opinions, and satisfaction
- Apply human relations concepts
- Understand the connection between civility and a positive work environment
