The presenter will explore the challenges of maintaining good employee relations in the hybrid environment from the context of change. COVID-19 has forced organizations to rethink the work environment and adapt to a more hybrid structure. This change not only impacts the organization as a whole, but just as importantly, it has had major impact on the individual employees. The focus of this presentation will be on how an individual can take control of his/her situation while at the same time have the capacity to accommodate the fluid work conditions and relationships.

The COVID experience has shown us we don’t really know what could be next. Clarity, flexibility, and resilience are skill sets for dealing with what is next. Mr. Stabler will discuss the import of considering multiple options for reengaging employees. One size does not fit all, and being able to be creative, innovative, and willing to blend custom options will realize enhanced employee relations. He will discuss examples of how implementing these techniques helps retain employees and prevents them from looking elsewhere. Further exploration will be conducted with the discussion participants.

OUTCOMES

Participants will

  • Increase their understanding of the diverse and complex challenges individual employees are trying to balance to stay employed in your organization
  • Enhance their awareness of alternative practices that result in employee retention
  • Identify strategies to be integrated in support of the hybrid environment.
